MY VISION

Tree Ring Woodwork is a custom woodworking and finish carpentry company based in Lakewood, Colorado, proudly serving the Denver Metro area and the greater Front Range. I specialize in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind woodwork for residential and small commercial clients who value durability, precision, and honest craftsmanship. My work includes custom decks, hand-built fences, live-edge hardwood tables, built-in media walls, shelving, interior trim, and fully custom furniture designed to fit both the space and the lifestyle.

Every project is built using premium materials such as walnut, oak, maple, cedar, and structural lumber selected for Colorado’s climate. We focus on long-lasting construction methods, clean joinery, and finishes that age well over time. Whether it’s an exterior deck built to handle snow and sun or a custom interior piece that becomes the focal point of a room, my goal is to deliver woodwork that feels intentional, solid, and timeless.

About Me

My name is Isaac Griffin. I first stepped into a carpentry shop at the age of four, tagging along with my father in Eastern Kansas. That was my introduction to woodworking, and it’s a craft that’s stayed with me ever since.

In 1991, my family moved to Colorado. I found myself drawn to the outdoors, from snowboarding to exploring everything Colorado had to offer. I studied art at the Colorado Institute of Art and later pursued History and Anthropology at Metro State. But no matter where life took me, I always returned to woodworking — the craft my father taught me and the one I love.

Today, I bring that lifelong passion to you through Tree Ring Woodwork. I approach every project with the same care, patience, and respect for the craft that I learned as a kid.
